Video Game Tester Jobs

You ever thought about getting paid to play? Sounds like a dream come true doesn’t it.
Well I’ve never done it so I can’t say what it would be like but my buddy Ahmir has been testing new video games for almost a year now. He loves it.
He’s pretty deep into studying so he only tests part time but he gets paid pretty well for it. He can basically make $50 or $60 anytime he wants and he says he could make a lot more if he put more time into it.
The thing is, gaming is such a big industry. There are always, always new games coming out and these big companies have to test. It costs a lot of money to develop a game like Call of Duty and they have to get it right. So they hire guys like Ahmir. He plays, reports any problems he finds, gets paid.
Another thing that is very cool about this is that Ahmir gets free games. They’re usually raw versions that can be a bit buggy of course. I mean, if they were perfect already why would they pay Ahmir? But they’re still free games!
I really gotta try this myself.
