Pikmin has been completely redesigned to utilize the unique controls of the Wii, and heading up your army of Pikmin has never been so easy, or so instinctive.

You’ll simply point your Wiimote at the screen to pinpoint the Pikmin you’re communicating with, and the Wiimote makes it easier than ever.

You’ll be controlling adorable little astronaut Captain Olimar, who has crashed his spaceship on a strange planet .

The planet is full of tiny plant creatures known as Pikmin, and they want nothing more than to be your friend and to help you in any task you assign them.

There are also enemies on the planet, but fortunately for you the Pikmin will swarm together to take them out when you command them to.

The Pikmin are also incredibly helpful in a variety of other ways, including helping you to build objects, recover the lost pieces of your spaceship, and gather the planet’s precious resources.

As time goes on, you’ll be able to command an army of up to one hundred Pikmin at any given time, and the Pikmin really excel at teamwork.

There are three types of Pikmin, and each has a different strength: some are best in water, some are strong in combat, and some are able to use bombs against enemies.

Since the Pikmin are very vulnerable to the giant predators on the planet, it’s your job to make sure you get each group into the large onion – like spaceships where they are safe every night. Each morning work must begin anew, because you have a goal to meet: you must find all the pieces of your spaceship and reassemble it before 30 days have passed.

Pikmin on the Wii is a whole new experience, since the controls are so different you’ll feel immediately involved in a whole new adventure.

In Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, you’ll be returning to the terrifying Resident Evil universe, as you fight your way through events and characters from three of the Resident Evil games, including Resident Evil 0, the original Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

The environments are primarily in Raccoon City, where RE 2 and 3 took place, but you’ll also have the chance to once again explore the huge mansion from RE 0 and the first RE – plus a new mission at the Umbrella complex.

As you play through the game, you are learning about the last hours of the sinister Umbrella Corporation, and finding out brand new information about all of the Resident Evil games, and finding new sidepaths and objectives.

Each of the galaxies contain at least six challenges to face, and you’ll need to use all the Mario skills you recall from prior games, along with some fantastically fun news ones.

Mario has the most transformations ever – special mushrooms allow him to wear a bee suit, a boo suit, or a spring suit, each with it’s own special abilities.

With Mario now in space, the normal physics just don’t apply anymore – you’ll fly, glide, and spin through stars, feeling so natural you’ll know that Mario was meant for outer space! Star collection is a tradition for our hero Mario, and you’ll find stars in all these new galaxies, with 60 stars needed to complete the game.

There are, however, actually 120 stars total, and you will want to grab them all because there are secret unlockable levels you won’t want to miss.

The Wii remote and Nunchuck controllers are used to incorporate true motion control in the game – you’ll use the controls to tilt as you fly Mario, to spin as you perform his new spin attack, and to perform triple jumps, running, and to do all of them as combos as well. You will drag and drop items, and have complete control with immediate response.

Mario feels so responsive to the controls that you’ll be thrilled with the split second reactions. You and a friend can join the adventure together as you play the co-op mode, collecting Star bits and shooting enemies in tandem.

You will be able to completely make your home your own, with furniture, wallpapers, flooring, and much more able to be changed as you wish. You’ll get to expand your home to accommodate your ever-growing collection of things …. and there are so many things to collect in this game that you’ll want all the space you can get.

You can not only collect a huge wardrobe, you can design your own – and share your designs with friends! If you have a yen for some big-city excitement, you can catch the bus outside of town hall and visit the city! There you’ll be able to catch a movie, get a haircut, and meet all new people – but hurry home, because the animals in your town will miss you, and notice you’re gone.

You and up to three other players will each be able to create a home in your town, and communication with other players is where this game really shines. You can write emails and text messages within the game, but that’s only the beginning. This game is enabled with Wii speak, which, while not required to play the game, adds a huge amount of excitement since it allows to you talk to friends online, via the WiFi connection. You can invite up to three other people to visit your town via WiFi, and they’ll be able to explore your town – and they might even go home wearing a new outfit you designed and start a new fashion craze!
