Bully : Scholarship Edition for Wii
February 7, 2009 by simonthecat · Leave a Comment
Bully: Scholarship Edition has everything the original Playstation 2 Bully game had, with lots of great new content added. In Bully, you’re playing 15 year old Jimmy Hopkins as he goes through all the fun, drama, and adventures that make up adolescence.
As Jimmy, you’re not too pleased to have been left at Bullworth Academy Boarding school , while your mom and her fifth husband ran off on a year-long cruise. Since you’re here, you’re going to try to make the best of it, get to know your new schoolmates, and maybe have a little bit of fun in the process! How do you pick what clique you belong with? You’ll have interactions with each clique : the Bullies, the Nerds, the Preppies, Greasers, Jocks, and Townies, as you progress through the game, and you’ll have to decide how you want to deal with each group (Including some cute girls who seem to be interested in you!). It’s all up to you -will you become a star student or a juvenile hoodlum?
You’ll get to accept missions, 82 in total, as you go about the game (eight of the missions are exclusive new Wii content). You’ll have a lot of control over your character’s destiny, so it’s an incredibly immersive gameplay experience. There are over 100 unique characters in the game to meet and talk to, and you can expect your reactions to them to have a direct impact on their reactions and therefore the storyline.
You’ll have all the classes from the PS2 version, along with new classes Biology, Music, Math and Geography. When you find yourself wanting to buy a new item in the game or attain a new ability, it’s time for the minigames. In addition to being addictive fun, these quick games are a great way to earn a few bucks so you can buy those new clothes or earn the upgrade for your bike. Bullworth Academy might have seemed like a teenager’s nightmare in the beginning, but with your help Jimmy might just end up ruling the school.

One of the most popular racing games of all time is back! Mario and his friends are back on the Wii, bigger and better than ever. The Wii Wheel, included in the box, gives you a whole new way to get right on the track. All of your favorite Mario Kart characters are reporting for Kart driving duty, like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad.
If you can prove you’re the best Kart racer, you can unlock some super-secret characters as well, some of which are brand new for the Wii edition of the game! You might also notice some familiar-looking characters in the stands watching the action- Miis (the characters you can create yourself) appear all over the game, plus you can earn them as a playable character!
Mario Kart Wii is the best Mario Kart yet, because along with the new characters, there are both new and old tracks and vehicles to play with. Along with the Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special cups(with their 16 brand new courses) , you also get “retro” tracks, which are the best tracks from the first five Mario kart releases- you’ll remember these crazy fun tracks like the Shell, Banana, Leaf, and Lightning cups.
As much fun as the single player mode is, you can really drive up the fun with versus mode, battle mode, and the time trial race. Up to four players can have complete multiplayer madness right at home. Online, using WiFi connection, up to twelve players can enter the races(the biggest races and battles ever in Mario Kart history).
No matter which mode you’re playing, you’ll have a blast trying out the new moves like the mini-turbos, drifting, and popping wheelies on the bike. You’ll be able to use your Wii remote to pull a new trick move, and really take your opponents by surprise! With the Wii Wheel making you feel like you’re right in the kart, you’ll soon be holding the Gold trophy!

De Blob for Nintendo Wii

It’s time to put your artistic vision to work as you jump, roll, and finger paint your way to victory as de Blob!
The dastardly I.N.K.T corporation, led by the evil Comrade Black, has taken control of your once happy and colorful homeland, Chroma City. I.N.K.T. has stolen all the color in the world and replaced it with dark and dreary monotone buildings, grass, and skies.
You’ll face I.N.K.T. soldiers, I.N.K.T. racers, and a city full of I.N.K.T. Paintbots as you work your way to the fortress. It’s up to you to jump on those Paintbots and make them release their paint !
Use your own strategy to customize the game – you can mix your own paints, patterns, and soundtracks. The more enemies you attack, the more paint you’ll get to use, and the bigger de Blob will grow!
With so many play modes, you’ll always have something new to do in Chroma City. The single player game is full of deep and long-lasting gameplay, as you get to watch the story of the Chroma city takeover (and eventual freedom, thanks to you!) in a series of mini-movies.
Want to play with friends? de Blob has you covered! You can play up to 4 players in de Blob multiplayer mode. Street and sewer maps of the universe let you stay aware of your surroundings at all times and help you strategize.
Multiplayer modes include:
- Paint Match – multiplayer mayhem! Players get to jump, roll, and paint around the city, with the main goal being to paint over your opponent’s just-painted handiwork!
- Blob on the Run – It’s one against two or three in this wildly fun capture the flag takeoff. Only one of you gets to paint-but the other three are out to gang up on you and steal that ability back!
- Blob Race – You are in a race to paint every building in town as quickly as possible. Sounds easy, right? There’s a catch: every building can only be painted once, and you’re competing with your friends to see who can paint the most first!
It’s all up to you to save Chroma city from a dismal monochromatic future! Are you up for the crazy-colorful challenge? de Blob is waiting!
