Animal Crossing: City Folk
This is the first true sequel to the hugely popular Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Gamecube.
Animal Crossing City Folk brings a whole new meaning to the word interactive, because this is a game where you truly are in control of your own world.
You’ll begin with your own fully customizable character, living in a beautifully detailed world that is randomly generated just for you.
Seasons change in real time, days turn to night, and you’ll even get to join in on holiday celebrations in the game. You can play at your own pace, and you will have complete freedom. As you begin, you will get to know the animals who are your neighbors, make friends, and learn your way around town.
You will start out with a little home of your own and that is where the customizing fun begins! To earn money for your home, you can do a variety of fun jobs -run errands for the towns people, or sell the fish, fossils, or insects you’ll catch to the local store, or sells items you don’t need.
You will be able to completely make your home your own, with furniture, wallpapers, flooring, and much more able to be changed as you wish. You’ll get to expand your home to accommodate your ever-growing collection of things …. and there are so many things to collect in this game that you’ll want all the space you can get.
You can not only collect a huge wardrobe, you can design your own – and share your designs with friends! If you have a yen for some big-city excitement, you can catch the bus outside of town hall and visit the city! There you’ll be able to catch a movie, get a haircut, and meet all new people – but hurry home, because the animals in your town will miss you, and notice you’re gone.
You and up to three other players will each be able to create a home in your town, and communication with other players is where this game really shines. You can write emails and text messages within the game, but that’s only the beginning. This game is enabled with Wii speak, which, while not required to play the game, adds a huge amount of excitement since it allows to you talk to friends online, via the WiFi connection. You can invite up to three other people to visit your town via WiFi, and they’ll be able to explore your town – and they might even go home wearing a new outfit you designed and start a new fashion craze!
Animal Crossing City Folk has limitless replay value – every time you play the game, there is something new to discover.
Bully : Scholarship Edition for Wii
Bully: Scholarship Edition has everything the original Playstation 2 Bully game had, with lots of great new content added. In Bully, you’re playing 15 year old Jimmy Hopkins as he goes through all the fun, drama, and adventures that make up adolescence.
As Jimmy, you’re not too pleased to have been left at Bullworth Academy Boarding school , while your mom and her fifth husband ran off on a year-long cruise. Since you’re here, you’re going to try to make the best of it, get to know your new schoolmates, and maybe have a little bit of fun in the process! How do you pick what clique you belong with? You’ll have interactions with each clique : the Bullies, the Nerds, the Preppies, Greasers, Jocks, and Townies, as you progress through the game, and you’ll have to decide how you want to deal with each group (Including some cute girls who seem to be interested in you!). It’s all up to you -will you become a star student or a juvenile hoodlum?
You’ll get to accept missions, 82 in total, as you go about the game (eight of the missions are exclusive new Wii content). You’ll have a lot of control over your character’s destiny, so it’s an incredibly immersive gameplay experience. There are over 100 unique characters in the game to meet and talk to, and you can expect your reactions to them to have a direct impact on their reactions and therefore the storyline.
You’ll have all the classes from the PS2 version, along with new classes Biology, Music, Math and Geography. When you find yourself wanting to buy a new item in the game or attain a new ability, it’s time for the minigames. In addition to being addictive fun, these quick games are a great way to earn a few bucks so you can buy those new clothes or earn the upgrade for your bike. Bullworth Academy might have seemed like a teenager’s nightmare in the beginning, but with your help Jimmy might just end up ruling the school.
