Call of Duty 4: World At War uses the excellent Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine as a basis for building this all new World War II adventure game.

Experience the amazingly realistic harsh, gritty combat and sheer chaos that was World War II. Playing as US Marines and Russian soldiers, you’ll use weapons with mind-blowing power, such as the flamethrower. Just shake your Nunchuck for a quick reload, and use your Wii remote for an all out melee attack!

Make the gameplay experience even more realistic with the Wii Zapper - it’s not required, but this awesome gun-shell peripheral really ramps up the combat fun, and you can play through 100 % of the game with the Wii Zapper if you choose.

The huge environments allow plenty of places to explore, hide, and practice your sniping skills. Multiplayer modes really allow you to get into the action, and fight right alongside your friends. Playing at home, you can choose squadmate mode, where you and a friend play in a split screen mode, providing cover for each other and tackling enemies as a team.

The online Multiplayer action is tremendously intense, as you tackle huge battles with people from all over the world via WiFi connection. The experience points system lets you unlock new secret weapons, and earn other great rewards, like the chance to call in air strikes.
